Akain Amuwalage was born at Westmead Private Hospital, Sydney on 10th of October 2010. He is a high school student at The Kings School Sydney and attended primary at Greystanes Public School. For club cricket, he plays for Carlingford Waratah Cricket Club since 9. He is a left-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper.
Last year he played representative cricket for the Parramatta District under-12 team which won the Under 12 Lismore cricket carnival. Apart from cricket, Akain does soccer and swimming. Akain has reached the final stages of his swimming and has represented the school at zone carnivals in his primary years. In soccer, he is a midfielder and played for his school under 13 team last season. Akain enjoys his music path and plays drums for the school contemporary band and is currently practising piano for the Australian Music Examinations Board grade 5 exam.
