biography

Kritthik Kamalanathan, son of Kirishanthan and Sakthy, was born in Melbourne in December 2010. He is currently in Year 7 at William Clarke College (WCC) and attended most of his primary school at Crestwood Public School (CPS) except for the first two years which he did in Melbourne. He has been playing cricket from the age of seven with Baulkham Hills Cricket Club, also captaining the team for the past two seasons.

Kritthik currently plays representative cricket for the U13 Div 2 Parramatta District Cricket Association. He also plays for his school’s junior cricket team as well as being one of the youngest members of the WCC development squad. Kritthik is a top-order batsman, bowls off-spin, and does wicket-keeping for his club and school matches. Kritthik supports Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash T20 competition, and Glenn Maxwell is his favorite cricketer.

Apart from cricket, Kritthik has played soccer for Norwest Football Club and is a part of his primary school concert band playing the trombone. Sports are a big part of his family life with his younger sister Avantika playing netball for Gazelle’s Netball club. She is also a good soccer player and has played soccer for her school (CPS) through the PSSA competition, and she has also represented her school in cross-country zone events.
